Blakesburg man hospitalized after being shot

February 13, 2008 By admin

Authorities in southeast Iowa say a Blakesburg man is hospitalized after being shot by another man this morning. The Wapello County Sheriff’s Department reports the man who was shot was airlifted to University Hospitals in Iowa City.

Authorities have yet to release the identity of the victim or the suspected gunman. The shooting, which took place at a home in Blakesburg, may have been the result of a domestic dispute between the victim and another acquaintance.
