The Skunk River Block and Pallet factory in Pella was gutted by fire early this morning. The structure was destroyed. It was a large warehouse that was filled with wood. It was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived on the scene.
The fire chief says the fire has been contained and they’ll be on the scene for a while to ensure it’s completely out. No injuries were reported. No cause has been determined for the fire.
