Council Bluffs man charged with murder

December 21, 2009 By Radio Iowa Contributor

A Council Bluffs man is charged with murder after an assault at an apartment complex in Pottawattamie County early Sunday morning. Council Bluffs police report officers and medics were called to an apartment on South Sixth Street at around 12:40 AM after receiving a report about an unresponsive female.

When authorities arrived, they found 54-year-old Bobbie Jean Tucker dead from an apparent assault. An investigation led to the arrest of 45-year-old Micheal A. Tucker, who was charged with first-degree murder. The couple shared the same apartment. Michael Tucker was booked into the Pottawattamie County Jail. The incident remains under investigation.
