Second ranked West Hancock and top rated Lisbon will match up in the Class A football championship game. For the Britt-based Eagles it’s their sixth state championship game appearance, winning titles in 1973 and 1996.

West Hancock coach Bob Sanger’s squad is led by the tandem of Zac and Chris Schleuger, who have combined for 35-hundred yards. He says they have great runningbacks all around but the Schleugers have carried the load.

West Hancock faces a Lisbon squad that knocked off Newman in the semifinals, and Sanger knows it will be a tough test for his team. He says Lisbon has a lot of weapons and a good running quarterback.

West Hancock is 12-1 on the season while Lisbon is undefeated at 13-0.
