Waterloo man stabbed during robbery

May 29, 2012 By Radio Iowa Contributor

A Waterloo man was taken to the hospital after being stabbed during a robbery overnight. Police responded to a house just south of downtown around 12:45 this morning.

Twenty-eight-year-old Markus Harding told police he had been sitting on the porch at that address when two men approached him. One of the men stabbed Harding in the left shoulder with a knife. The two men then took Harding’s money and left the scene.

Harding was taken to a local hospital with injuries that are being described as “non-life threatening.” Police have not made any arrests.
