A bicyclist was seriously injured following a hit-and-run crash Thursday night in east-central Iowa. According to the Iowa State Patrol, 49-year-old Wayne Felton of Cascade was riding his bicycle on Highway 151 in Jones County when he was struck from behind by a vehicle.

It happened around 11:15 p.m. about three miles north of Monticello. The vehicle continued northbound after the collision and has not been located. Authorities are asking for help in the case as they have no information about the description of the vehicle or its driver.
