Schaller man sentenced to 5 years on child porn charge

October 5, 2012 By O. Kay Henderson

Daniel Lindgren

A northwest Iowa man has been sentenced to five and a half years in prison on a child pornography charge. Twenty-five-year-old Daniel Lindgren of Schaller admitted earlier this summer that he had downloaded child pornography from the internet.

He was caught in a federal investigation and Lindgren is going to a federal prison to serve his five-and-a-half year sentence. When he was 19, Lindgren was found guilty of lascivious contact with a minor girl.
