Woman shot at Sioux City nightclub Sunday

A woman was shot and a man is now in the Woodbury County jail after an incident at a bar in Sioux City Sunday. Sioux City police say the shooting happened shortly after one a-m inside Mac Behr’s nightclub on the west side of the downtown district.

A woman was shot in the chest. She was transported to a local hospital and her condition and identity have not been released. Police say 24-year-old Solomon Harris of Sioux City was arrested at the scene and charged with assault while participating in a felony, willful injury, intimidation with a deadly weapon, and reckless use of a firearm.
