Iowa State runs home win streak to 20

February 5, 2013 By Todd Kimm

Iowa State made in 20 straight at home as the Cyclones clobbered Oklahoma 83-64 in Big 12 action. The Cyclones connected on 11 three pointers as they improve to 6-3 in the Big 12. “I certainly anticipated a very close game, that’s a very well-coached team as we’ve talked about, with Lon Kruger,” coach Fred Hoiberg says.

The Cyclones connected on eight of 16 three pointers in the opening half. Hoiberg says that had a lot of guys shoot threes, which makes it tough to guard. Will Clyburn led the Cyclones with 19 points.

Hoiberg says Clyburn had another great game and has been consistently scoring and making his free throws over the last five games.

Iowa State is 16-6 overall.
