Storm Lake police are looking for a man who allegedly attempted to entice two small children on Saturday afternoon. Police received a report of a man attempting to entice a six-year-old boy and a six-year-old girl. The children were approached by a man who gave them money.
The man then told the children he would give them more money and ice cream if they would meet him at the end of the block. He then drove away. The children did not go to meet the man and they went and reported the incident to their parents.
The children were uninjured. Police canvassed the area and received additional information that a vehicle matching the suspect’s vehicle was seen near the children.
The suspect is described as a white male in his 20’s with dark hair wearing a grey shirt. The suspect’s vehicle is described as a bright red passenger car with a spoiler on the trunk area.
