Iowa basketball team loses game in overtime

August 19, 2013 By Todd Kimm

The Iowa basketball team suffered its first defeat on its European tour with an 84-82 loss in overtime to the Hyrese-Toulon pro team that included former Iowa player Pierre Pierce.

The Hawkeyes roared back from a 6-point deficit with 40 seconds remaining in regulation and sent the game to overtime on a tip in by Aaron White that beat the buzzer.

Devyn Marble led Iowa with 18 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists. The Hawks close out the trip with one more game on Tuesday.
