Ferentz says everyone should be healthy after bye week

October 8, 2013 By Todd Kimm

Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz says the off week came at the right time for his team. The Hawkeyes had several players injured in Saturday’s 26-14 loss to Michigan State. “We’ve been relatively fortunate thus far this year injury wise,” Ferentz says. He says they would have 4 guys who would be questionable if they played Saturday.

And Ferentz says the week off should allow them all to heal before an October 19th visit to fourth ranked Ohio State. He says the medical meeting was optimistic that everyone would be back by the end of the week.

Iowa is 4-2.
