Iowa Network Services Boys High School Basketball Players of the Week 2/11/14

Class 4A: Michael Jacobson, Waukee
The junior averaged just over 20 points, 10 rebounds and three blocked shots in two wins. Jacobson scored 23 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and blocked three shots in a victory over Southeast Polk.

Class 3A: T.J. Hockenson, Chariton
The sophomore averaged 18 points, 15 and a half rebounds and four assists in a pair of victories. Hockenson scored 22 points, hauled down 21 boards and dished out five assists in a win over Centerville.

Class 2A: Andrew Van Ginkel, Rock Valley
The senior averaged 28 points and eight rebounds in three games. Van Ginkel poured in 40 points and hauled down 10 rebounds in a victory over Sioux Center.

Class 1A: Jeremy Deemer, Lamoni
The senior averaged better than 30 points and nearly 17 rebounds in three victories. Deemer scored 33 points and grabbed 20 rebounds in a win over Orient-Macksburg. He shot 87 percent from the field in the three games.
