July 10, 2014 By Radio Iowa Contributor

Authorities are investigating the deaths of two people in northwest Iowa. Plymouth County Sheriff’s deputies were called at 10:45 p.m. Wednesday to check on the welfare of two individuals at a residence in rural Akron.

Deputies arrived, discovered that the two individuals were dead and determined that the manner of death was suspicious. The bodies will be transported to the Iowa Medical Examiner in Ankeny to assist in determining the cause of death. The names of the two people found dead in the home have not been released.
