Iowa State coach Steve Prohm expects senior forward Georges Niang to play on Tuesday night when the 13th ranked Cyclones host 14th ranked West Virginia. Niang was hobbled in Saturday’s loss at fifth ranked Texas A@M.
“If we played yesterday he would have been fine to play but it is just cautionary”, said Prohm. It is his foot and his thigh and he is beat up but Georges will be ready to go.”
West Virginia is part of a three way tie for first in the Big 12 race with a 6-2 record. The Cyclones are one of three teams sitting a game back.
