Oelwein man dies in weekend hunting accident

AmbulanceAn Oelwein man was killed Saturday while turkey hunting. The Iowa Department of Natural Resources reports 63-year-old Michael Adams was shot by another person in his hunting party north of Maynard.

It happened around 3 p.m. Saturday. Adams was hit in the face and chest and died at the scene. The incident remains under investigation.
