Three charged with stealing lottery ticket

Police-lights-300x192Three people were arrested Wednesday in connection a valuable — but allegedly stolen — Iowa Lottery scratch ticket.

The case involves a ticket that was presented at the Iowa Lottery’s regional office in Storm Lake on June 17. The $250,000 prize involved has not been paid out. A news release from the Iowa DCI does not provide many details about the case, but states the three people were arrested by police in Sioux Rapids.

They’re each facing felony charges of theft of a lottery ticket. The three people booked in the Buena Vista County Jail are identified as 20-year-old Ashley Bosler and 26-year-old Johnny Long, Junior., both of Sioux Rapids, and 42-year-old Sally Bosler of Cedar Rapids.
