An investigation is underway after a fatal shooting in Fort Dodge last night.
Multiple officers with the Fort Dodge Police Department did respond and once on the scene, they located one unresponsive male with multiple gunshot wounds. Officers began life-saving efforts on that man until medics with the Fort Dodge Fire Department arrived on the scene. That man was ultimately pronounced dead at the scene. The name of that man is not being released until police are certain that all next of kin have been properly notified.
