A former middle school reading teacher in the IKM-Manning school district has been charged with sexually abusing three male students between the ages of 13 and 14.
Twenty-four-year-old Cassidy Sue Kraus of Westside was arrested Friday and she’s being held in the Carroll County Jail. She’s charged with third degree sex abuse and two counts of lascivious acts with a child as well as three counts of dissemination of obscene material to minors.
Court records show Kraus is accused of molesting two 13 year old victims in May of last year. Authorities allege Kraus performed sex acts with a 14 year old victim this year. The investigation found Kraus sent obscene material to at least three minors over Snapchat between January of last year and May of this year.
Administrators in the IKM Manning school district placed Kraus on leave in August after receiving allegations that she had sent inappropriate photos to students. She resigned four days later.
