One area of the state continues to lag behind in finishing off the corn harvest.

The U.S.D.A. crop survey found 12% of the corn in south-central Iowa remained to be harvested at of the end of the week Sunday. No other crop district had more than 4% remaining, with the statewide average of just 3% of the corn still in the fields.

The corn harvest is on the same pace as last year, and ten days ahead of the five-year average.
