Investigators are trying to determine the cause of a fatal house fire Saturday evening in Ottumwa.
The city of Ottumwa says two people died in the fire and the other occupants of the home were safely evacuated. The identity of the deceased was not disclosed. The State Fire Marshall was contacted to assist with the investigation. No other details were released.
