A north-central Iowa community will move forward with a $43.4-million plan to refurbish its high school.
Voters in the Webster City school district approved a renovation project to its high school to begin by the middle part of 2027.
The measure passed in the unofficial returns last night.
The renovation will include a new air conditioning system, new accessibility for students, expanding classroom size, and increased security needs.
The Webster City High School was built over 65 years ago. The goal is to complete the renovation in 2029.
