It’s a place where most people never want to end up — but Webster City residents are going there anyway to sneak a peak. For the first time in 40 years, Hamilton County has a new jail. The 36-bed facility won’t start taking prisoners until December 13th but it’s packing people in already — for tours — through Sunday. People can even stay overnight, if they’d like, for a 55-dollar donation to area charities. In addition to the new jail, there’s an attached law enforcement communications center.
