Iowa State used a couple of big rallies to sweep a doubleheader fromNorthern Iowa 18-10 and 12-11 in college baseball action in Ames on Sunday.Trailing 9-1 in the opener, the Cyclones scored a school record 14-runs inthe fifth inning to post the victory, then used a six-run fifth inning in thenightcap to come from behind.The Cyclones have fared well against in-state competition despite beingwinless in the Big-12. Smith says that just shows how tough the Big-12 is.
