The Salvation Army chapter in Mason City has received a triple-blessing this holiday season. Three gold coins were found in red kettles outside a K-Mart this week. One was wrapped in a dollar bill, the other two were wrapped in another single. The South African Krugerrands weigh nearly a full ounce each. Gold opened today around 278-dollars an ounce.
