Despite a 1-10 record last season, the Iowa football team will make multiple appearances on television this fall. Iowa assistant athletics director Rick Klatt says the Big Ten Conference has confirmed the August 26th game with Kansas State, the September 23rd game at Nebraska and the October 7th game at home against Michigan State will be televised. He says it appears the Western Michigan, Iowa State, Indiana and Minnesota games will have some type of regional or statewide coverage. So how does a team that won only one game last season get on television this much? Klatt says it speaks to the strength of the Big Ten conference and the strong fan interest in the program.Four out of five Big Ten games are televised each week and Klatt says decisions on those games will be made during the season. He says that gives them the possibility of having all twelve games on TV.
