A convicted sex offender in northeast Iowa will not have to do prison time. 52-year-old Patrick Kelly of Oelwein was convicted of sexual exploitation of a minor after police seized videotape and photography equipment in his home last October. He got a suspended ten-year prison sentence Monday in Fayette County & was given five years probation. He’ll have to spend one year at a residential care facility and register as a sex offender.
