Iowa State Cyclones are idle this week after claiming a 24-14 victory over the Iowa Hawkeyes in Kinnick Stadium on Saturday. Cyclone quarterback Sage Rosenfels put the game away with a five-yard touchdown run with just over five minutes remaining.Iowa State coach Dan McCarney who felt his team played well, despite making some mistakes. McCarney says his team was ready to play.McCarney says even though the Cyclones are 3-0, there is a lot of work to be done. He says they want to finish strong this year.Things only get more difficult for the Hawkeyes this week that must regroup and get ready for a visit to top ranked Nebraska. The Hawkeyes are now 0-3 in what has been a frustrating start for coach Kirk Ferentz. He says it seems when things go bad, they go bad. But Ferentz says none on the schedule is going to feel sorry for them and they have to keep working hard.
