Over 100 people attended a “diversity” forum in Sioux City today. Iowa Lieutenant Governor Sally Pederson says Iowa needs more immigrants to expand the state’s population, and native Iowans need to consider how best to welcome the new Iowans.An Iowa “diversity” forum will be held in Ames October 16th. Another will be held October 23rd in Cedar Rapids.
