Linn County Health Officials have closed 19 wading pools due to a potential bacteria outbreak. The director of Linn County’s environmental health division, Tom Hart says the wading pools were built in the 1950s and ’60s, and do not have chlorination systems. He says that creates too much of a health risk.Hart says new chlorination will be installed in one of the pools, but it won’t be open until later this summer.
