Northeast Iowa authorities are broadening their search for a missing mother and child. Cresco police are extending the search for 25-year-old Angela Hyke of Cresco and her eight-year-old daughter, Ashley Lucas. Both were last seen Sunday by family members in Cresco. Officer Kevin Chessmore says they’re “looking all over the place, even outside the state. We’re trying to get information to help us locate some people who might know where she is.”Hyke is five feet tall, weighs 160 pounds, has brown hair and hazel eyes. The girl is four feet tall, weighs 92 pounds, has blond hair and blue eyes. Hyke owns a tan ’97 Pontiac Grand Prix with Howard County plates reading: 7-9-9-B-F-P. Call the Cresco police with information.
