The final Radio Iowa/Baseball Coaches Association poll for class 3A and 4A is complete. Iowa City High took over the top spot in Class 4A the third week of the poll and never relinquished that spot through the final poll. West Des Moines Dowling which opened the season at number one, finishes in the number two spot, followed by Marshalltown, Indianola and Sioux City West. Lewis Central is number six, followed by Pleasant Valley, Dubuque Hempstead, Davenport Central and Ames. Cedar Rapids Xavier jumped into the top spot in Class 3A poll in the fourth week of the poll and held on there through the final poll. Oelwein is second ranked, MOC-Floyd Valley is third, Decorah fourth and Norwalk fifth. Atlantic, Dallas-Center Grimes, Knoxville, Sioux City Heelan and South Tama round out the top ten in the 3A poll. Tournament play begins this weekend for 3A and 4A teams.
