There’s a startling revelation in the autopsy report probing the April death of a Bettendorf baby. The report says the baby girl died of pneumonia, but offers no conclusive evidence the child was born alive. The report concludes the baby was delivered at her mother’s home on April 25th. Cops got a tip and discovered the baby wrapped in plastic bags, in a bucket, in a closet. The autopsy report also disclosed the mother told cops she had disposed of the remains of an earlier child at the vet clinic where she worked. Police have not released the mother’s name and no charges have been filed in the case.
