After a four-year absence the Northern Iowa football team returns to the one-double-a playoffs on Saturday. The Panthers will renew an old rivalry when they visit Eastern Illinois.U-N-I coach Mark Farley remembers Eastern knocking UNI out of the playoffs when he played in 1986. Farley says UNI has beaten Eastern in the playoffs, and says the players don’t realize how far back the rivalry goes. He says the Panthers are healthy and looking forward to the game.Farley says the Panthers earned their way into the playoffs, and says he felt they should’ve gotten a home game. But he says they’re ready to win the game on the road.
