Customers from Iowa have helped a Minnesota company that specializes in shipping live pets by air see a three-thousand-percent jump in business in recent months. Cliff Hilton manages Goldwood Kennels in the Twin City-area. Before the rule change, Hilton averaged three or four pets to be shipped each month. Now it’s up to six a day. Since the terrorist attacks on September 11th, the F-A-A has changed the rules to require pets only be shipped by licensed operators. Hilton’s business is one of few in the five-state region.
