A group of republican Senators say they intend to streamline the process for business interaction with the state. Senator Larry Miller of Libertyville says it’s about growing the economy. Miller says they’re trying some things that’ll make Iowa friendlier to business.Earlier this year, the Senators held four community meetings around the state with business leaders. Senator Kitty Rehberg of Rowley says those meetings were fruitfulRehberg says their ultimate goal is to create a one-stop-shop in the Iowa Department of Economic Development that’ll help a business find out all they need to know about state government programs and regulations.
