High school basketball players from Iowa and several other states will take part in the Future Stars spring shootout at Drake University beginning tomorrow. The event gives players a chance to be evaluated by college coaches and Van Coleman from Future Stars says the number of players interested in taking part continues to grow. Coleman says this is an important time in the evaluation process for juniors in high school.Coleman says about 120 girls will be part of the action this weekend and that number will continue to grow as the interest in the women’s game does.Coleman says the games will begin at nine-45 tomorrow morning.
