Morningside meets Northwestern Saturday

Morningside will host Northwestern Saturday in a Great Plains Conference matchup. In their first season at the N-A-I-A level, the Mustangs are 1-1 and coach Steve Ryan is happy with the progress.Ryan says with the Morningside program in transition, this game could become a rivalry some day but they are not emphasizing that this week. He says they’re young and they need to focus on the team to do the things they need to do. Ryan says the Great Plains will provide a quality opponent every week.
