Iowa’s 132nd Fighter Wing returned home last night, landing at the Air Guard base in Des Moines. Colonel Robert King says their 30-day term of duty was a short one, but not their first one. It’s the sixth time they’ve “flown the mission” in the last six years, so he says they’re no strangers to the area. And King confirms the Fighter Wing will likely be called to serve again in the northern no-fly zone over Iraq.
