Six companies will step into the spotlight tomorrow looking for investors through a statewide forum sponsored by the Iowa Department of Economic Development. D-E-D spokesman Phil Thomas says the Venture Network of Iowa forum begins at seven tomorrow morning.They presenters from entrepreneurial companies make a five minute presentation seeking capital from investors. The presentation is sent across the state via the Iowa Communications Network. Thomas says there’s a variety of companies set for tomorrow’s presentation.The range from a Sioux City internet company to a health care provider co-op in Webster City. Thomas says the forum can give the companies a boost.Thomas says the D-E-D has hosted such forum for over ten years.
