A proposed Vision Iowa project for northeast Iowa’s Clayton County has been put on indefinite hold. Residents from the area gathered in Des Moines on Wednesday to voice concern over the project’s status. They point to major changes from the original application and the credibility of the developer as the main reasons they want to halt the plan. Vision Iowa had indicated it would give five-million dollars to the project initially. The project in the Marquette and McGregor area was to include a trail, hotel, golf course and a winter park.
