The Iowa Hawkeyes return to Big Ten action Wednesday night with a visit to Wisconsin. The Hawks have been off since last Wednesday’s win over Illinois which improved their Big Ten record to 3-0. Iowa coach Steve Alford says it worked out well to not have a game, as Glen Worley was sick, and would not have been able to play. Alford, while happy with the early success they need to remain hungry. He says the effort early has led to success, and he says 100 percent effort has to be their staple. He says they need to work to get more second shots and to play better defensively.
