Iowa coach Steve Alford says the Hawkeyes need junior forward Glen Worley on the court if the Hawkeyes are to be successful during the Big Ten race. Worley fouled out in the waning seconds of regulation in Saturday’s loss to Purdue and has been plagued by foul problems throughout much of his career. He says Worley is outstanding when he plays, but he’s averaged four and a half fouls a game, and Alford says a player starts to get a reputation as someone who does foul. Alford says with Jared Reiner out, the fouls become even more of a burden. Alford says he’ll have to start subbing for Worley when he gets his first foul.Iowa returns to action Wednesday night at Penn State and Alford says after a big effort by his ballclub, the Hawks need to bounce back.
