A Cedar Falls cop and a prisoner were injured in a car accident early this morning. A car driven by 24-year-old Nicholas Tribell of Cedar Falls went through an intersection and struck a police car. The officer in the car, and the prisoner being transported, were injured and taken to the Cedar Falls hospital. Their names and conditions have not been released.
