Former residents of what’s now a virtual ghost town in northeastern Iowa met up over the weekend to share memories. The Clayton County town of Littleport held its first-ever reunion on Saturday. The flooding Volga River four years ago on the same date wiped out much of the community. The federal government later purchased most of the 60 homes that were still standing and most everyone moved away.
