Iowa State opens the Big-12 race at home against top rated Oklahoma. The Cyclones are 2-2 and coach Dan McCarney says they will need a good start against a Sooner team that has the potential to overwhelm opponents as they’re explosive and fast all over the field.Iowa State has never beaten a top-rated team but McCarney says the coaches and players are not concerned about history. He says he wants his players to relish the opportunity to play against the top-ranked team. McCarney says the Sooners have the confidence it takes to make a run at the national title and the talent. Oklahoma is 4-0.
