Iowa State is finding out in a hurry that the Big-12 Conference has a number of outstanding quarterbacks this season. After taking on Oklahoma and Jason White on Saturday the Cyclone defense must now get set to face Texas Tech’s B.J. Symons, who had 505 yards of passing and eight touchdowns in a blowout victory over Texas A&M.Cyclone coach Dan McCarney says this might be the best collection of quarterbacks in the league since its inception. Like Symons, a number are known for their arms while others for their feet. McCarney says they’re all well coached, but he says he can’t imagine Symons’ 24 touchdowns in just five games.Iowa State is 2-3.
