The non-custodial mother accused of abducting her three children from northwest Iowa last week has died in a Georgia hospital. 30-year-old Samantha Pardue died Friday night at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center of natural causes. She’d had a history of heart trouble and reportedly had breathing trouble that night in her jail cell. An Amber Alert was issued last week after Pardue and her husband, Keith, allegedly took the three kids from Samantha’s parents’ home in Spencer. The Pardues and their children, ages six, ten and 12, were all found in Georgia. The grandparents left for Georgia on Friday to re-claim the children and return them to Iowa. Keith Pardue still faces charges and is expected to be extradited to Iowa.
