Amy Swisher’s jumper bounced around the rim and fell through with three point eight seconds remaining as the UNI women claimed theit first road victory 67-65 at Wichita State.Swisher says it was huge and having it roll around used up some of the clock. She says it was a set play for her and they planned to get the shot off early another to have time left for another shot. The late basket concluded a see-saw affair which saw the Panthers lead by 12 early, fall behind by 14, then rally for the win. UNI coach Tony Dicecco says he gives his team credit. He says they were hard on them in the lockerroom as they weren’t doing the important things they needed to do.
