In high school football action tonight in class 1A fourth ranked West Marshall visits Eldora-New Providence. The defending state champs are 2-3 overall but West Marshall coach Ken Winkler says they are a contender in district seven. He says they’re talented and putting up a lot of yards while not giving up many yards. These are two of five teams with one loss or fewer in district seven and Winkler says each game is important now. He says they’re in the middle of the year and not in the stretch run yet, so he says they have to prepare well.
